How to Complete a Professional Qualification Check: Step-by-Step Guide
If you have been requested to complete an academic qualification check, you will see a **Professional Qualification Check** card. This process consists of three steps and requires the following information:
## Page 1: Professional qualification details
If you do not have a relevant professional qualification or membership, please check **"I do not have a relevant professional qualification"**. Please also specify a reason in the following section.
### 1. Country
- Select the country where your institution or awarding body is located.
### 2. Body / institution name
- Enter the full name of the institution or awarding body as stated on your document proof.
- If your institution does not appear in the list, select the **"Create New"** option.
### 3. Name of qualification
- Enter the name of the membership or qualification as stated on your document proof.
- For example, **Doctor** or **Accounting**.
### 4. Dates of study
- Enter the start date and the latest date you were enrolled at the institution.
- If you did not complete your studies or are still studying, select the appropriate date accordingly.
- If unsure, refer to your certificate. The end date may be the same as the award date.

### 5. Membership / license number
- Provide a membership number if this is stated on your documented proof.
- This field is optional.
### 6. Level
- Enter the level or type of membership or qualification as stated on your document proof.
- For example, **License to practice** or **Level 1**.
- This field is optional.

## Page 2: Document proof
### 1. Document proof type
- Specify the type of document proof you are uploading.
- This may include any form of documentation provided directly by the institution or a screenshot of the register.
- **If you do not provide a document, the check may be delayed by 2–4 weeks.**
- If possible, we recommend ordering replacement documents in advance to avoid delays.
### 2. Document upload
- The document must be a single page.
- Ensure it is not rotated and that the image is clear.
- If you cannot provide a document, specify the reason in the previous section.
## Page 3: Dates
### 1. Dates of study
- Enter the start date and the latest date you were enrolled at the body/institution.
- If you did not complete your studies or are still studying, select the appropriate date accordingly.
- If unsure, refer to your certificate. The end date of study may be the same as the award date on your certificate or study proof document.
### 2. Award date
- Enter the award date as stated on your certificate.
- This may be the same as the end date of your study.
