How to View and Manage Your Previous Conversations in Zinc Live Chat
### Open your chat history
1. Open the Zinc live chat by clicking the chat icon in the bottom-right corner of the page.
2. In the top-right corner of the chat widget, click the **history icon** (it looks like a clock with a circular arrow).
3. The **Chat History** panel will open, showing a list of your past conversations.
Each conversation entry shows:
- The first message you sent in that conversation
- The date the conversation started
- The current status of the conversation, which could be **Open** if it's still ongoing or **Resolved** if it has been closed
### Read a previous conversation
1. In the **Chat History** panel, find the conversation you'd like to review.
2. Click the **arrow** on the right side of that entry.
3. The conversation will reopen with the full message thread, allowing you to read through it again.
### Start a new conversation
1. From the **Chat History** panel, click the **+ icon** in the top right.
2. A new conversation window will open, and you can type your question or message as normal.
### Close the widget without losing your history
- To minimise the chat widget, click the **– (minimise) icon** in the top-right corner.
- This collapses the widget but does not delete any chats.
- To reopen the widget, click the Zinc chat icon in the corner of the page.
- Your conversations are saved automatically and remain accessible in the **Chat History** panel.
- Closing or minimising the widget does not delete any conversations.
