Zinc and Third-Party Referencing Providers
Third-party referencing companies are quite common for reference requests we process here at Zinc.
If your candidate's previous employer uses an external referencing company to provide references, the best route is still for the candidate to provide the reference request with an email address to contact their previous employer at as normal.
Once Zinc emails the previous employer, they will let us know what the process is for obtaining references with their referencing provider.
If we need anything from the candidate, we will contact the candidate directly via email for any additional details.
When we have everything we need, we will submit the request and the reference will be provided to us to complete the candidate's reference request.
