The requesting party will request the check from the ATS or their Zinc account. 2. Automated instructions are delivered to the candidate to provide some personal details in a dynamic web form. 3. Zinc submits the request to the authorities. 4. Zinc receives the results (digitally) and provides a signed digital report. 5. The candidate receives a notification to say the process is complete. ## What details are required from the candidate to submit the check? - First Name - Last Name - Birth Date - Last registered address in Jamaica ## What is covered in the criminal check? The Court Search Jamaica provides criminal litigation information of natural persons lawfully residing in Jamaica, extracted through the Supreme Court of Jamaica, the Court of Appeal of Jamaica, the MOCA organized crime database, and other media sources. The information goes back 7 years. The search is national and local. ## Restrictions, Exclusions, and Limitations - It should be noted that an individual is able to apply to the Ministry of Justice in Jamaica to have a conviction expunged from his or her record, provided that he or she has not been convicted of an offense during the rehabilitation period set out by the Criminal Record Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.
