Acceptable Address Proof Documents for International Address Checks (Non-United Kingdom)
Once you submit your current address on Zinc on the form you see below, we will try to verify via our certified IDSP in authoritative sources like electoral lists for matches.

If no matches can be found via the text-based address search, your address check will have a **Consider** result and a physical document collection process is shown to you via an automated email with the subject line of **Information about your address check.**

If you don't receive this email, **don't worry**! Our team will also chase you for it on an email with the subject line of **Address Proof Required** asking for the same document so take a look for this message in your inbox.
Again, the address check will be left with a **Consider** result until that document has been provided **and** has been successfully processed by our Support Team.
## How to provide your proof of address
1. Reply to the email you received (or our Customer Support team's email) with the document attached.
## Acceptable documents
The types of acceptable physical address proof documents we accept include:
- **Bank Statement**
- **Phone Bill**
- **Utility Bill (like gas, electric, internet, or water)**
- **Mortgage Statement**
- **Government Letter**
- **ID Document**
- **Pension statement or Property tax letter**
- **Letter from a bank or utility company**
This document need to be issued in the **last 3 months** to be accepted and be **either a photo/scan of the physical document or a PDF copy.**
If you cannot provide one of these documents, let us know directly and we can work with you to see if there's an alternative solution.
## What we need to see on the document
When you send us the document, please make sure we can clearly see:
- **Your Full Name**
- **Your Current Address as Provided on Zinc**
- **The Type of Document**
- **The Issue Date**
The document has to be issued in **your name**, not a landlord's, partner's, relative's name, to be accepted.
## What happens next
Once you have provided it, we will let you know if it accepted in a reply to your message. We will try to get to your message as soon as we can. Additionally, we process emails oldest to newest so try not to send a chaser, even when it might be hard to resist!
If we need you to resubmit the check again on Zinc, we will let you know the reason why and how to do so. Typically, it's because the address you submitted on Zinc isn't the same address as provided on your document.
Once the document is accepted, you will see your address check will change from a **Consider** to a **Clear** status.


All done! Your address check is completed through Zinc.
