What Tax Account Should I Use for My HMRC Employment Verification?
For employment verification via the HMRC, you should use your **personal tax account/Government Gateway ID** to complete the check.
If you have not set up a personal tax account with the HMRC, you can do this here: <https://www.gov.uk/personal-tax-account>
A business tax account cannot be used for the HMRC employment verification as it is not tied to an individual.
