What Does the ‘Ready for Review’ Request Status Mean?

The pink **Ready for review** status means that all of the checks are completed and the report is fully compiled, but there has been something that has come up on the checks which requires the employer's review. You'll see this above the pink **Ready for review** rectangle on the top of the Candidate Report page.
You'll see the below pink **Ready for Review** rectangle on the Request page which you can filter for on the Request page.

It's recommended that you have a look at the report as soon as possible and then make some notes on the course of action that you are going to take off the back of the checks. We recommend using the Comment function on the top of the candidate report page.
If you are a candidate, please check in with your employer directly to see if there's anything they need further from your side to complete the review process.
## Closing the review
To indicate the closing of the review:
1. Click the **Mark as Reviewed** button in the right corner on the candidate report page.
This will signal to your colleagues and to Zinc that you have picked up the issue that's come up on the report and you have come to some resolution, which others can see in an explainer on wherever you're tracking your review.

Once you have clicked the button (as shown above) on the candidate's report page, the report will turn into a green **Reviewed** state indicating that there was previously some things found on the report and that they have now been marked as reviewed.
