## Who is the source of financial integrity check data in Sweden?

## What is the process in Sweden?
1. The requesting party will request the check from the ATS or their Zinc account.
2. Automated instructions are delivered to provide some personal details in a dynamic web form.
3. Zinc submits the request to the authorities.
4. Zinc received the results (digitally) and provides a signed digital report.
5. The candidate receives a notification to say the process is completed and the person gets a copy of the credit report sent to them with information on who ordered the credit report.
## What details are required to submit the check?
- **First Name**
- **Last Name**
- **Birth Date**
- **Consent**
- **Government ID Number**
- The personal identity number (Swedish: personnummer) is the Swedish national identification number. It is a 10 or 12 digits with Swedish population register, e.g. 19600101-1234 or 600101-1234).
- For people with their main residence less than a year in the country or for Swedish citizens who have never been residents of Sweden they receive co-ordination number, which consists only of numbers, no letters. If the coordination number is temporary, the check cannot be performed, as no credit history of individual has been recorded.
## What is covered in the financial integrity check?
The Financial Integrity verification process provides adverse financial information on citizens and foreigners, over the age of 16 lawfully, residing in Sweden, extracted by a local credit bureau, with the explicit consent of the individual.
The process is nationwide and the data collected includes the following information:
- complaints ( judgment by default, Debt reported from Swedish authorities, Tax defaults, trading prohibition, residual taxes and fees, Utility or Telecom Debt Default, Mismanaged Credit / Misused Credit Line), as well as current and some details of historical debts with the Swedish Enforcement Authority and misused credits
The credit report also includes the following identifiers: the subject's full name, ID number, and address.
The information goes 2 years back and extracts the relevant information from the Swedish Enforcement Authority, banks, and finance companies.
## Restrictions, Exclusions, Limitations
- When requesting a credit report on an individual, the person gets a copy of the credit report sent to them with information on who ordered the credit report. This information will also be visible for 12 months to anyone else who orders the individual's credit report.
- It has been found that the number of inquiries can affect risk, which is why this information is presented in the disclosure. Different types of requests also have different impacts on the forecast. Having multiple inquiries does not automatically have to result in a higher risk forecast. The risk forecast is affected by several risk-driving factors and the number of inquiries is one of them.
- Precluded by law to share the report with another party.
