## Who is the source of credit check data in Philippines?

## What is the process in Philippines?
The requesting party will request the check from the ATS or their Zinc account.
1. The candidate receives automated instructions to provide some personal details in a dynamic web form.
2. Zinc submits the request to the authorities.
3. Zinc receives the results (digitally) and provides a signed digital report.
4. The candidate receives a notification to say the process is complete.

- Drivers License, UMID ,or GSIS number is also acceptable

## What is covered in the credit check?
Our provider accesses CIBI Credit Bureau to conduct Bad Payment verification in the Philippines. The process provides financial default information on citizens and foreigners over 18 years of age, who are or have been tax residents in the Philippines.
The process is national, and the retrieved data is sourced from CIBI, which aggregates information submitted by all financial and lending institutions to the Credit Information Corporation (CIC). This includes banks, credit lenders, and non-banking financial companies. The information provided encompasses:
- Credit records and repayment behaviour
- Credit evaluation and overall credit history
- Details of loans, debts, and delinquencies
- Account summaries
The verification does not leave a footprint and does not affect the candidate's creditworthiness.
The verification is conducted with the highest compliance standards, in accordance with applicable laws.
## Restrictions, Exclusions, Limitations:
- Due to privacy laws, there might be restrictions in accessing case information that the parties to the case have explicitly prohibited the public disclosure of.
- The credit bureau forbids sharing credit information with third parties outside of the consent provided for the purposes of a credit check.
- Please note the names of the financial institutions the subject owes money to will not be released as only users who are also under Financial Institution will receive this information.
- Updates to the database are made weekly, but it sometimes depends on the banks.
## What is the period covered by the check?
Coverage by the source goes 24 months back.
## Is there any potential candidate footprint?
The verification does not leave a footprint and does not affect the candidate's creditworthiness.
