What Is the Cifas Check?

The **Cifas Insider Threat Database (ITD) check** is a vital fraud-prevention service for organisations in financial services and other regulated sectors. Cifas is the UK’s largest cross-sector fraud-sharing network. Its Insider Threat Database is shared by more than 300 UK-leading member organisations to flag individuals involved in internal misconduct or vulnerable to impersonation. No details of a match can be shared with a candidate. If a match is found, the information is passed to you for further investigation and action.
