What Does the ‘Blocked’ Status Mean in Request Checks?
The grey '**Blocked**' status means a check can’t be submitted yet because it’s waiting on another check or action to be completed.
For example:
- In England and Wales, a Criminal Record Check (DBS) may be blocked until the identity, right to work, or address checks are finished. If these required checks aren’t complete, the criminal check can’t start and will show as '**Blocked**'.
