## How to integrate Zinc with SeeMeHired ### Step 1: Set up your Zinc account 1. Register for a Zinc account at [zincwork.com](https://zincwork.com). 2. Configure the background check packages you need within Zinc to ensure they meet your compliance requirements. 3. Log in to your SeeMeHired account and go to **Settings > Integrations > Others**. 2. Locate the Zinc integration tile and click on it. 3. Enter your Zinc **API key** obtained from Zinc. 4. Toggle the integration to turn it on. Once enabled, Zinc will appear as active in your SeeMeHired account. ### Running a Background Check on a Candidate 1. Open the candidate's profile, and go to their **Application and Background Checks** section. 2. Click the **…** icon and select **Request Zinc check for candidate**. 3. A dropdown will display all the check packages you set up in Zinc. Choose the appropriate package for the candidate. 4. Click **Submit Request**. The candidate will receive an email from Zinc guiding them through the background check process specific to the package selected. ### Tracking Background Check Progress Within SeeMeHired, you can monitor the status of each candidate's background checks directly. Updates, outcomes, and completed reports will automatically appear in the candidate's profile as soon as they become available. ### Viewing and Downloading Reports - To download the candidate's final report as a PDF, open the candidate’s application in SeeMeHired and click **Download Report**. - To view the report inside Zinc, click **View Report on Zinc** from the candidate application.
