What Does 'Action Required' Mean on an Identity Check?
**Action required** (sometimes shown as **Consider** or a **flagged** result) means there is a reason why the document cannot be passed. If it appears to be a legitimate **and** **unintended** reason, we recommend having the candidate try again.
Please note, these are warnings you must review to evaluate first, as they maybe caused inadvertently.
If you have a circumstance where you need to conduct a face-to-face check of the document instead, you are able to select this option on the platform and notify the candidate, however it will delay other checks from being completed. This will only be an option if you see it on the platform.
- **Document:** the document cannot be read for reasons such as, obscured features or poor quality image.
- **Face Match:** the selfie cannot be read for reasons such as, obscured features or poor quality image.
