Not Comfortable Sharing Your Government Credentials on Instant Employment Verification?
We do not force users to take the government verification path. It is our recommended path since it is significantly quicker than other routes and less work for you.
When you enter your supported tax or government authority login details on Zinc, it is functionally equivalent to entering your login details directly into the supported tax or government authority portal in a pop-up window.
Although you are interacting with the Zinc interface, the underlying system is directly linked to the supported tax or government authority website and **Zinc does not store or process your login details**.
However, you can always select: **"I do not want to provide X"** at the bottom of the page. This will take you to provide traditional reference details, which will mean the typical turnaround will **increase** to 1-2 weeks.
We take the responsibility of handling your personal data very seriously. We hold ourselves to the highest security standards. Your data is safe in the process, we take the following precautions:
- Your login details are fully encrypted at all times.
- Credentials are used to validate a one-time session and never enter persistent storage.
- In line with the terms of our verification partner login details, these details are never stored.
- Zinc's system is penetration tested at least annually.
- Zinc maintains a ISO2001 certificate.
Instant Employment Verification through a tax or government authority is currently available only in these supported countries:
- United Kingdom (excluding Isle of Man or the Channel Islands)
- Spain
- Ireland
- India
- Netherlands
- Mexico
- Brazil
- Philippines
