How to Integrate Zinc with Teamtailor for Automated Background Checks

Log in to your **Teamtailor account** and click on **Marketplace**. 2. In the **Marketplace**, search for **Zinc** and click the **Activate** button to reveal your **API key**. ![teamtailor-1](https://storage.googleapis.com/public-fini-assets/zincwork_hc_images/teamtailor-1.svg) ## Step 2: Add the key to Zinc 1. In **Zinc**, click on the **Settings** icon (bottom-left of your account). 2. After adding your **payment details**, you'll see the **Company tab**. Scroll to **"Add API Key"** and paste your **Teamtailor API key** there. ![teamtailor-2](https://storage.googleapis.com/public-fini-assets/zincwork_hc_images/teamtailor-2.svg) ## Step 3: Customise your checks Decide with your Zinc account manager which checks you'd like to conduct depending on your company’s needs and customise any reference questions. In a **Teamtailor job**, go to **Triggers** and add **"Send Reference, Zinc"**. 2. Choose the check package you want to use and, optionally, write a personalized note. 3. We will send automated reminders to ensure that you get your checks in good time. **Track the progress** You can view the status of each candidate’s checks in your ATS.
