What does “Paused” Mean for a Background Check Request?
Paused means the background check request bounced originally when it was sent to the candidate.
This could mean either the candidate's inbox is full or the email address is wrong.
## How to fix it
1. Check the email address on the request to confirm if this is the right email address of the candidate. If it's not the right email address, you will need to cancel this current request and resend a new request to the correct email.
2. Connect with your candidate to see if they can clear out some space in their inbox. Once done, you can either send them a link to complete their background check request or wait for our automated emails to attempt to deliver the request again.
After trying these two steps and there's still an issue, contact our Support Team so we can look into this issue further.
