How to Proceed with Your Qualification Check Without a Copy of Your Diploma or Certificate
If you do not have a copy of your diploma/certificate or transcript, there are two ways to continue, depending on what the form shows.
## If the "I am unable to provide proof of studies" option is shown
Select **"I am unable to provide proof of studies"** in the document type dropdown. The check can still continue, but not providing a document may delay your check by **2-4 weeks** due to institutional processing times.

## If the option/button is not shown, or a document is required
Download this [consent form](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iZE1mEqpY6O63U0SEEo-VQSZsFwmwuRc/view?usp=sharing), complete it fully, **hand-sign** it, and upload it in place of your certificate or proof of studies. If a document type is requested, select **Other**. You can use your student number for the ID number.
This consent form does **not** require payment from the candidate. If an additional consent form is requested, it is because the institution requires this authorisation to verify the academic qualification.

## If your form asks for an academic referee
This article is about missing documents for a qualification check. If your form is asking for academic referee details, such as a referee name, referee email, or a former professor, tutor, lecturer, or academic contact, that is a separate reference requirement.
Submitting a diploma, certificate, transcript, proof of study letter, or student ID does not automatically replace an academic referee requirement.
