Why Is My Address History Pre-Filled and Not Editable, and How Do I Edit/Submit My Address Check?
Some parts of your address history may be **pre-filled** and **not editable**. This is expected.
## If your address history is pre-filled and you can’t edit it
- Some fields (especially **end dates**) are automatically set to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- For your **current address**, the **end date** is fixed as the **current month and year**.
- For **previous addresses**, the **end date** is preset based on the **start date of the last address** you entered.
- These **end dates can’t be changed manually**.
### What you *can* edit
- You can still enter or adjust the **start dates** for each address.
- Use the **MM/YYYY** format (for example, `02/2023`):
- **two digits** for the month
- **four digits** for the year
- **no spaces** or extra characters
## If you’re stuck on the address check submission screen
- If an address is already shown, this is the **current address** you provided in the **Confirm Your Details** section.
- If you need to edit this address:
1. Click the **pencil icon** next to the address.

2. Edit any details **besides the country** (the country can’t be changed).
3. Click **Save changes**.
4. Click **Submit** when you’re ready to proceed.

- If no address is shown, you’ll need to **add your full current address**.

If you’re unsure what to enter, it’s best to submit the **exact same address** that appears on the **proof of address document** you may need for the check.
## If you have already submitted your address check
- You can only review or edit the address while you are still on the initial address check submission screen, before submitting it.
- After the address check has been submitted, the platform does not provide a way for you to view or confirm the exact address you entered.
- If you are on a later step, such as the proof of address upload/acceptance screen or the Your Profile section, the pencil icon and address submission screen will no longer be available for checking the submitted address.
- If your proof of address keeps being rejected and you think the submitted address may not match your document, contact Zinc Support for next steps.
