## What is the process in Indonesia?
1. The requesting party will request the check from the ATS or their Zinc account.
2. Automated instructions are delivered to the candidate to provide some personal details in a dynamic web form.
3. Zinc submits the request to the authorities.
4. Zinc receives the results (digitally) and provides a signed digital report.
5. The candidate receives a notification to say the process is complete.

- Current or latest registered address in Indonesia
## What is covered in the criminal check?
The Court Search Indonesia provides criminal case information for both citizens and foreign nationals legally residing in Indonesia, extracted from the online databases of the Mahkamah Agung Republik Indonesia (Supreme Court of Indonesia) and its system of subordinate courts. The published data goes back to 2004 (or the earliest available within the database) and covers the following judicial bodies:
- Supreme Court (final reviews)
- High Courts / Courts of Appeal (appellate jurisdiction)
- District Courts / Courts of First Instance
- Military Courts
- Special Criminal Chambers (first instance and appeal)
The service reports on criminal convictions and offences across the following categories. Records that have been legally expunged or rehabilitated under Indonesian law are excluded:
- Murder
- Manslaughter
- Rape
- Sexual assault
- Child molestation / offences involving minors or children
- Assault and battery
- Theft
- Robbery
- Fraud
- Forgery
- Corruption
- Bribery and gratification
- Money laundering
- Narcotics and psychotropic substances offences
- Human trafficking
- Cybercrime
- Terrorism
- Economic crimes (e.g., financial crime, banking offences)
- Environmental offences
- Arms offences
- Crimes against public order
- Crimes against public authority
- Crimes against state security
- Crimes endangering the general security of persons or property
- Extortion
- Intimidation or threats
- Negligent acts causing death or injury
- Military crimes
- Juvenile criminal offences

## Restrictions, Exclusions, and Limitations
- Due to privacy laws, there might be restrictions in accessing case information that the parties to the case have explicitly prohibited the public disclosure of.
- The lack of numerous identifiers and potential use of generic names can create a risk of false positives or false negatives.
- Please note that we only provide audit trails as evidence for this service. Exceptionally, if you need evidence for "Records Found" we can share the snippet or judgment with an additional cost.

## Period covered by the check
The records are kept based on the legal prescription and rehabilitation periods applicable for each type of conviction provided by the local regulations in Indonesia. For accurate reporting purposes, cases from up to 7 years ago will be included in the report.
