What's Included in a Credit Judgement and Litigation Check?
## What is a Credit Judgement and Litigation Check?
Employment Credit Checks are a common background check used by employers to determine risk of applicants and employees. These checks can also be referred to as a Financial Probity Report and Adverse Financial Report.
## Do false positives appear?
It is uncommon for a false positive to appear.
## What identifiers are used?
Full name, date of birth and address history.
## What's included in the search?
The information identified varies per country due to local regulation and access to information.
### United Kingdom
These checks identify information from the past six years, including; current and previous addresses, electoral roll data, bankruptcies, Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs), sequestrations and trust deeds (insolvency data), and County Court Judgments (CCJs). This is a soft credit check and will not affect your candidate's credit score.
