How to Update Microsoft Entra ID Directory Client Secret for Zinc Integration
## Generate a new client secret
1. Open the applications page within Azure Active Directory.
2. Click on the Zinc Application you created when the SSO integration was first set up.
3. Click on **Certificates & Secrets** from the side nav.
4. Click **New Client Secret**.
5. Add a description for your new client secret and set the expiry, we recommend 2 years or 24 months.
6. Copy your **new** **client Secret Value,** we only **need the Secret Value not the secret ID**.
## Update client secret
1. Navigate to the **Zinc company page** here: https://app.zincwork.com/company/general.
2. Click **Update client secret**.
3. Add your new **Client Secret Value** and **Expiry Date** , then click **Submit**.
All done! Your Client Secret is now updated.
