## What is the process in Singapore?
1. The requesting party will request the check from the ATS or their Zinc account.
2. Automated instructions are delivered to provide some personal details in a dynamic web form.
3. Zinc submits the request to the authorities.
4. Zinc received the results (digitally) and provides a signed digital report.
5. The candidate receives a notification to say the process is completed.
## What details are required to submit the check?
- First Name
- Last Name
- Birth Date
- Consent
- **Government ID Number**
- **Citizens:**
- NRIC Number
- **Foreigners:**
- Foreign Identification Number 'FIN'
- NRIC/FIN Format: @xxxxxxx#, where @ is S,T,F,G +7 numbers +the # which is a letter
- ID Numbers linked to expired documents are also acceptable
- Passport number cannot be used to conduct the check, only ID number (FIN or NRIC) is accepted
## What is covered in the financial integrity check?
The Adverse Financial verification process in Singapore provides information on financial defaults and adverse legal actions involving citizens and foreigners lawfully residing in Singapore. The data is sourced from the Credit Bureau of Singapore, with the explicit consent of the individual, and the process covers the entire country.
The database includes information on bankruptcy and payment default records, updated on a weekly basis and covering the past seven years.
In addition, the credit report includes litigation information obtained from Singapore court records, specifically:
- Business Litigation – Writ of Summons (civil suits filed against or by companies)
- Individual Litigation – Writ of Summons (civil suits filed against or by individuals)
These entries indicate the existence of civil proceedings initiated through a Writ of Summons, as recorded in the official Singapore court databases (e.g., Supreme Court and State Courts).
The report also includes the following identifiers: the subject’s full name, ID number, and address.
