Moving a Candidate from Recruiting to HCM on Workday
#### **Will a pending parallel background check be completed when a candidate is moved from Recruiting to HCM?**
No. Workday will display a warning stating the parallel stages in progress will be automatically completed:

This will delete the **Select Background Check Overall Status** task.

Within the **Background Check** process history, **Select Background Check Overall Status** is *Automatically Skipped*, and **Make Background Check Decision** is *Completed*.

However if you look at the **Background Check** status on the new Employee Profile (found under **Personal > Background Check**), the overall status of the Background Check is still *Pending*.

If the candidate then completes the Background Check, the overall status is updated (to **Passed** in this example):

**NOTE**: The Zinc PDF report however will be returned against the candidate profile (accessible via **Actions > Recruiting > View Candidate Profile**) from the Employee profile:

#### Will the PDF report be transferred from Recruiting to the HCM?
No, however it can be uploaded during the **Revise Employee Hire** Task.
This candidate has completed their Background Checks. The PDF report is found under **Attachments > Other Documents** in the candidate profile.

When this candidate is hired, their new Employee Profile shows their Background Check:

However the PDF report is not automatically transferred:

If during the **Revise Employee Hire** task (i.e. before an employee profile is created in the HCM) you upload the attachment, it will be available under **Documents**.
