DBS Checks: Your Certificate and Results as a Candidate
DBS check results are not displayed in your Zinc profile. This article explains how you receive your results and what to expect after your check is complete.
## Your DBS certificate
Once your DBS check is complete, the DBS will send a hard copy of your certificate by post to the address you provided in your application. This is the only copy issued — there is no digital version of the certificate.
If you haven't received your certificate, check that the address you entered in your application was correct.
## What you can see in Zinc
You can track the progress of your DBS check in Zinc, but your results and certificate are not visible through the platform. The DBS sends your certificate directly to you.
## Sharing your certificate with your employer
If your recruiter or employer needs to see the details of your DBS check, they will ask you to share your physical certificate with them directly.
