Japan: Acceptable Documents for Right to Work Verification
To perform a right to work check in Japan, the following documents can be accepted:
## Natural Citizens
- **Japanese Passport**
- **Birth Certificate showing nationality as Japanese**
- **Birth Certificate showing name and DOB and showing parent's nationality as Japanese**
- **Certified or Uncertified Copy of Birth Certificate**
## Foreign Nationals
- **Work Visa**
- **Working Holiday Visa**
- **Residence Card**
All of these documents can be uploaded securely through Zinc.
