Is It Safe to Send Documents and Information to Zinc Via Email?

At Zinc, we ensure that personal data is safe and secure when sent or requested via email. If personal or sensitive details are requested for **qualification, credit, or criminal checks** to proceed as these checks typically require more sensitive information to be provided, we will always request the candidate to provide this information for these two checks through an encrypted platform called **SendSafely**. This allows candidates to safely provide details or documents through a secure system instead of attached on an email. If a candidate isn't provided with this link initially in a message from the Zinc Support Team but wants to provide sensitive information for other checks (such as a reference check) in a more secure manner, the candidate should request this from our team directly who can provide a link for them to submit their details. We also automatically delete emails after 6 months of being in our system. It's an automated, no-touch way of making sure our policies align with privacy regulations like GDPR.
