The requesting party will request the check from the ATS or their Zinc account. 2. Automated instructions are delivered to provide some personal details and complete some forms in a dynamic web form. 3. Zinc submits the request to the authorities. 4. Zinc received the results (digitally) and provides a signed digital report. 5. The candidate receives a notification to say the process is completed and will also receive the credit reports via our checking provider. ## What details are required to submit the check? - **First Name** - **Last Name** - **Birth Date** - **Consent** - **Special Consent Form** - Request for disclosure of personal data, hand-signed by the Candidate - electronic signatures via Logalty and Assently are acceptable - **Terms and Conditions** - Terms and Conditions to the specific consent for disclosure, hand-signed by the Candidate - electronic signatures via Logalty and Assently are acceptable - **Passport/ID Copy** - _**Citizens**_ - Valid Spanish ID Card (DNI) - both sides - Spanish Passport - If the Spanish passport was issued outside of Spain, a Spanish driver’s license or a Spanish ID card (DNI), even if expired, is **required** - Valid Spanish Driver’s License – both sides - _**Foreigners**_ - Valid ID Card/Passport - both sides **AND** valid/expired Spanish national NIE document -both sides (NIE Card, NIE Certificate, Spanish driver's license, Permanent residency card, NIE card for foreigners from outside the EU.) - **Candidate's Email Address** - Current email address of the candidate. This means that the candidate will receive the credit reports requested by our checking provider. ## What is covered in the financial integrity check? The Adverse Financial verification process in Spain provides financial default information on citizens and foreigners, extracted from the National Association of Credit Financial Establishments (ASNEF), which is a business organisation that acts as an indispensable link among financial institutions specialized in consumer finance and Public Administrations in Spain, other Spanish and European professional associations, and users of financial products. It includes all the specialised financial and credit institutions and a large number of companies, not only from the credit sector. The extracted information goes back up to six years. The process is national. The data collected includes information on unpaid bills and consultations. ## What is the period covered by the check? Coverage by the source goes back to 6 years. ## Restrictions, Exclusions, Limitations - According to European and Spanish data protection laws, the candidate's email address is required for the processing. This means that the candidate will receive the credit reports requested by our checking provider iCover. - Not allowed to share the credit report with another party within the EU (and outside the EU). - Bad Payment History/Credit check per se is not permissible in Spain, except for self-employed or director-level inquiries. - The ID document (DNI for citizens and NIE for foreigners) is mandatorily required by the credit report for processing purposes. - As international students, individuals living in Spain should apply to obtain an NIE (foreign identification number). If the candidate is a citizen of an EU state they must have acquired a residence card or an NIE card (or temporary NIE before the actual card was issued). - Please note that, if they do not have an NIE, then chances are they would not have been allowed to open a bank account or subscribe to a recurring payments scheme, therefore making their ability to contract debts (as in official credit) very slim in Spain. ## Is there any potential candidate footprint?
