Why Does Zinc Ask for a Selfie as Part of the Identity Check?
In the identity check, Zinc compares the most recent live photo provided by you during the identity verification flow to the face on your most recently captured identity document (such as passports or national ID cards).
The **selfie** portion of the identity check is designed to prove identity document ownership, so that only the owner of the identity document can use it to verify their identity and complete this check.
