Understanding Your Right to Work Results for International Checks
You can prove your right to work through any of the documents specified for that particular country in our other articles [here](https://help.zincwork.com/hc/hm54ky7yrc/folder/40184455-15-right-to-work-check).
When submitted to Zinc, the result can either come back as a **Clear** result or a **Consider** result for right to work check performed in countries outside of the UK.
## Clear result
You will receive a Clear result if you submit:
- A valid (not expired) passport issued by the country where you will be working, and you are a citizen of that country
- A valid (not expired) national identity card issued by the country where you will be working, and you are a citizen of that country
This means Zinc has successfully processed your document and your check result is now available on your profile. You do not need to do anything else.
## Consider result
If you submit any other type of document, you will receive a Consider result. This includes national identity cards issued by the country where you will be working, but you are not a citizen of that country.
This means your employer will need to review your documents manually.
Don't worry! A Consider result does not mean your legal right to work is invalid or that your documents are not acceptable. It simply means your employer needs to complete a few additional steps to review the documents you provided.
### Why does my Right to Work check still show “Consider” after a long time?
A **Consider** status can remain on your Right to Work check even after your employer has completed their manual review.
This is because **“Consider” is the original result of the Right to Work check** and it remains unchanged afterwards. It does **not** mean your documents are unsupported or unacceptable—it only indicates that your employer needs to follow their review process for this type of submission.
