How to Trigger Bulk Background Checks in Workday
## Creating the Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
1. Access the **Create EIB** task. Name the EIB **Bulk Zinc Background Checks**. Select **Inbound** for **EIB type**.

2. You can **leave** the **General Settings** as they are. Click **Next**.
3. Under **Get Data**, the Retrieval Method is **Attach File At Launch**. The File Type is **Web Service Spreadsheet Template**. The Web Service Operation is **Put Background Check (Web Service)**.

4. You can leave the **Transform** settings as they are. Click **Next**.

5. You can leave the **Deliver** settings as they are. Click **Next**.

6. At **Review and Submit**, click **OK**.
## Fill out the templates
1. There are two templates you can choose from to fill with your employee data. You’ll need each employees’ **WID (Workday ID)**, together with the **Background_Check_Package_ID**, and the **Background_Check_Package_Test_ID** of each test within that package.
2. Access the **Maintain Background Check Packages** task for the **Background_Check_Package_ID** and **Background_Check_Package_Test_ID**.
3. You can find the employee Workday ID from the Actions overflow menu: **Integration IDs** > **View ID**.

4. The first template is for **Packages that have a Single Test**. Each employee is on a separate row.
5. The second template is for **Packages that have Multiple Tests**. In the example, the Package has 2 Tests. Each employee is on 2 rows, as a different row is needed to define each of the Tests in the package.
## Launch the checks
1. Access the **View Integration System** task. Search for **Bulk Zinc Background Checks**.
2. From the overflow menu select **Integration** > **Launch / Schedule**.

3. Leave the Launch Settings as they are (i.e. **Run Now**).

4. Under (**Attachment**) > Value, select **Create Integration Attachment**, and then upload the completed template.

5. Click **OK**. Once uploaded, you can click **Refresh** to view the status of the bulk checks.
You have now successfully triggered checks in bulk with Workday!
