What Does the ‘In Verification’ Status Mean?
This grey '**In verification**' status means that this check is currently in the process of being verified and progressed. This means it has started and it's in progress but it is not yet completed.
This status has been applied, but there's no need for concern. Everything is in process, there's no action required by the candidate or you as the recruiter!
For example:
- An identity check has been submitted by the candidate and it is now in progress.
- A reference request has been submitted by the candidate and Zinc has contacted the referee to submit this reference.
You will also see a grey and white circle badge on the candidate's timeline on their individual report next to any references requests that are still in verification.
