Credit Judgement and Litigation Check: Unable to Verify / No Records Found (UK)

When a UK **credit judgement and litigation check** shows **unable to verify** with **no records found at all**, it means that using your **full name, date of birth, and address history**, there were **no matching credit, insolvency, or court records** identified in UK databases. ## Why this can happen This can be due to: - You **recently moved** to your current address (or **into the country**), making it difficult to find a match at the new address. - An issue with the **format of the address** provided, which can prevent a match. - You **don't have any credit history**. ## What the check looks for The check searches the **past six years** for information linked to your details, such as: - **Insolvencies** - **County Court Judgments (CCJs)** ## "No records found" vs. "clear" If nothing at all is found under your provided identifiers, the report will return **"Credit records could not be found."** This is **different** from having a record that is simply **clear**.
