Self Employment or Freelance Period Reference: Who to Add
For self employment or freelance work, you can provide the details for someone you worked with in that period of time. For example, an ex-colleague, an accountant, or a client.
Self-employment or freelance work should be treated as an employment or professional activity period, not as a non-employment period. Do not use the non-employment route for self-employed or freelance work if that period needs to count toward the requested employment or reference coverage.
Add the self-employed business, company, or professional activity where possible, then provide a suitable professional referee such as a client, accountant, or ex-colleague.
