This email will include attached instructions on how to complete your Basic Disclosure application with our registered body. **Please read these instructions carefully as this is the only way for your application to be processed correctly**. You will be required to: 1. Input your personal details as prompted. 2. Enter the Responsible Body (iCover) code provided in the email instructions attachment. 3. Submit your Basic Disclosure application. **Once submitted, reply to iCover’s email confirming that you’ve completed this step**. Failure to confirm your application will delay the processing of your criminal check. ### Step 5: Application review by AccessNI After submitting your application and confirming it with iCover, your application will be forwarded to our AccessNI Responsible Body account. Our dedicated agents will: - Review the information for any discrepancies. - Return the application to you via email for corrections if discrepancies are found. (You will be able to amend the discrepancies on AccessNI). - Approve the application and send it to AccessNI for processing if all information is accurate. To avoid delays, carefully review all the information in your application before submission. ### Step 6: Receive your criminal certificate Once your criminal check is complete, AccessNI will email the criminal certificate directly to you and the results of the check will be visible on Zinc for your employer to review. If your employer requires the criminal certificate, they will need to ask you directly for this as Zinc does not have this documentation.
