How Can I Edit or Update Referee Details After Sending a Reference Request?
Once you have submitted a reference request you can no longer change it. This is because as soon as you’ve added the details and pressed submit, your referee will receive an email (and text, if a mobile number was provided).
If you’ve made a mistake on the email or details, you can delete the request and submit a new one for the same referee.
The referee will receive a new reference request and the link they were previously sent will no longer work.
## Please note
- You can only delete a reference that has not been completed yet.
- Any completed references or bounced reference requests cannot be removed unless we are given explicit consent by your employer to Zinc.
