What Does the 'Pending resubmission' Status Mean?

The blue **Pending resubmission** status shows when the candidate has previously attempted to complete the check, but there was an issue with the information they provided so they are now automatically asked to resubmit the affected check. Examples of this are: - If the candidate supplies an image of their identity document which cannot be processed (perhaps it is low quality or cut off in the corners). - If the address document they have provided is not accepted by the verifying bodies in the check process. - If the name or date of birth they entered doesn't match their identity document, and the check is part of a UK DBS criminal record check — the first mismatch is reset automatically; a second or third mismatch is reset by the recruiter. This doesn't apply to identity checks run outside a DBS check. ![zincwork_hc_images/what-does-the-pending-resubmission-status-mean-1.png](https://storage.googleapis.com/public-fini-assets/zincwork_hc_images/what-does-the-pending-resubmission-status-mean-1.png) ## Are reminder emails sent while a check is in Pending resubmission? Reminder behaviour varies by check type and route.
