Do I Need a Qualification Certificate or Proof of Study Document for Qualification Checks?
In certain countries like the United Kingdom, some form of documentation is required to process a qualification check.
If you cannot find your certificate, we recommend contacting your institution to request a proof of study document, letter, or transcript, as these can be accepted.
If you cannot request a copy of your diploma/certificate or transcript **and** you need to provide a document to proceed, you can download this [**consent form**](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iZE1mEqpY6O63U0SEEo-VQSZsFwmwuRc/view?usp=sharing) instead, ensuring that it's fully filled in and **hand-signed and** upload **this in place of your certificate** by selecting the option **Other**. For the ID number, you can declare your student number on the form.

The candidate is **not required to pay** for submitting a consent form. Where requested, additional consent forms are used because the institution requires this authorisation in order to proceed with verifying the qualification.
If a document is **not** required, the upload field will be optional. To indicate that a document cannot be provided in this case, select **"I am unable to provide proof of studies"** in the document type dropdown. However, please note that not providing a document may delay your check by **2–4 weeks** due to institutional processing times.
